It's a miracle. . .

that we finally got this family together. . the weather has just not been cooperating with me at all. We thought we were going to get rained out yet again, but it actually turned out to be a PERFECT night for photos. . . beautiful natural lighting!! I have a lot of great ones, but this one was way to cute not to post!

"Hi Sun!!"

I put that title in quotes because that is exactly what my daughter said when she saw the sun. It's been a long time since I've had a session due to all this rain and I couldn't have asked for a better subject to get back into the swing of things. Just check out these eyes! More to come!!

Boys will be boys. . .

I had a session with the cutest boys tonight! I keep getting kids with the most gorgeous blue eyes and these boys didn't disappoint. Check out a couple pics. . . lots more to come!

I just can't help it!

I always tell myself that I'm going to wait for a day or so to upload the photos, but I can't help it when I get cute babies! Ya'll, just check out these blue eyes and lashes! I'll post more later. . I have not even looked through all the photos, but these were so cute!

Seeing Doubles. . .

No, I didn't go out for drinks last night (although, it would have been nice). I did a session with two of the cutest twins yesterday. Here are a few cute ones!

I love them and just had to share

Addison is at that age. . . she throws the most insane temper tantrums, but she is hilarious. She literally cracks me up. . . she has a fake cry and a fake laugh and I love calling her out on it. She repeats most everything you say and can usually come up with something funny that involves the word "poo poo" - who knew that would be so funny, but for some reason it just is. Anyway, here are a few photos that I loved of her that I took today.

Not sure I believe her parents. . .

Photo time was supposed to be a difficult and stressful time for this family. . at least that is what they told me. This sweet little girl was so easy to photograph. . besides the location and lighting, she was just beautiful. I got so many great photos, it was so hard to choose which ones I wanted to share! The first one has to be my favorite (ok, I'll admit, it took her a few minutes to warm up. . I only got one frown).

Pigtails

After taking on this new photography business and taking photos of other children and families, I realized I am falling being on photos of Addison! Here are two I took today (one of them with her Aunt Jenna). She is finally keeping her pigtails in and they just look so cute.

Animal Whisperer

Ya'll. . I had a session with the animal whisperer yesterday. I'm not kidding. . . I could not get a shot of this little girl without a duck or a dog or some type of animal following her around the park! They just loved her and she loved them just as much. She is probably the most well behaved child I have ever met, but maybe I'm just comparing her to my 2 year old :) We got some great shots even though we were rushing to beat the rain! (I'll post a few more later!)

Lollipops and Ice Cream. .

at least that is what we kept telling Libbie and she believed us in the beginning. The bribe started losing its effect towards the end of the session. . however, she did finally get her ice cream (well, yogurt) and it was worth the wait. Libbie has a special place in my heart since she was Addison's first little friend. . they met when they were 6 weeks old, their birthdays are 3 days apart and they both had more hair than I have ever seen on newborn babies. It still baffles me that our "babies" will be 2 years old in a few weeks. . where does the time go!!? Here are a few fun pictures. . .

Future Movie Star

Today I had a session with Lily Kate. . not only does she have the cutest name, she is quite the little model already. She was in her glory posing every which way and loved to pose on her tummy (I guess I would too if I had to spend 99% of my time on my back - what do those doctors know anyway???). This sweet little girl, with a touch of her mother's stubbornness, is a true blessing. Here are a few of her adorable photos. . .

I'm finding out through experience how this new business venture should work, so thanks for being patient with me! I have decided that prints need to be ordered through me personally. I want to see every single print that is sent to clients so you are happy - that is my number one goal. I know it's a bit more work to fill out an order form rather than putting something in a shopping cart online, but I would like everything to go through "quality control" first :) You can still pay by credit card, cash or check, so payment is still easy. Belly (and Family) Shots

I just shot my first maternity photos. I really think I'm just getting lucky. . . this was another beautiful family. I could not get enough of their blue eyes - absolutely GORGEOUS! I have also never seen such well behaved kids. . I guess the popsicle bribe worked :) I'll have to remember that for my next family!

Totally chill. . .

Yesterday, I met sweet baby Cooper. He was the most laid back little guy I have ever met. He was fast asleep the whole session and we just posed him in lots of different poses without a peep! The location (their home) was just beautiful and couldn't have been a better setting for photos - like a page out of a magazine. I was a bit worried about the clouds on the drive up, but the lighting ended up being just perfect. Here are a few of my favorites.
